Singer, Songwriter, Hernandezberg-er
Merlin, born on 1949-09-08 in East Stevenfurt, is a folk
singer who currently works to perform local gigs at local
bars and small
concerts. He began his career by first performing
for his school
and as a small street musician, going by the nickname,
New Brian Cass. Eventually,
after gaining some traction and popularity, Merlin began to
perform small gigs
at bars and even at small concerts.
Despite growing fame, Merlin prefers to live a humble life,
playing his own
original music in his local hometown, Hernandezberg, with his
wife Lisa-Jamie always by his side.
Walking into a brewery during the weekend at Hernandezberg, and you
might find him performing or getting a drink!
Growing Up
Merlin reigns from a musical family, as both his parents were musicians. Merlin draws much inspiration from his parents' work and frequently samples them in his songs. His father performed in the band SalmonBlueJams. Since he was little, Merlin participated in his parents' rehearsals and sang choruses in his songs. Having unfortunately suffered a stage accident, his father couldn't continue performing, and thus Merlin decided to take over.
Merlin's Inspiration
Although not globally known, his music has inspired and caught the eye of other singers too, who contacted him to work together in creating new music. His most recent song, Romero-Young, which stars Brennan Olsen-Kennedy, was just published and immediately gained his fans' approval and love.
Merlin's Career
From the start of his career, New Brian Cass has been dedicated to creating his own music but is most famously known for his voice and lyrics. Most of New Brian Cass's songs are about small-town life and the struggles that come along with it. Such an example that you may have heard about is his most popular album, Sounds of Lake Tony, about the life of a lonely rancher trying to find her way back home. While these songs blew up in popularity on TikTok in just three days, New Brian Cass decided that the famous lifestyle of being a famous singer just wasn't for him and decided to stay living humbly in Hernandezberg.
